Storybook is one of TimberNook’s most popular programs. Children “live and breathe” stories out in the wild. Each day brings a new story and adventure for the children to recreate with friends.
To celebrate launch week, we’re offering a special discounted rate – the perfect chance to experience TimberNook for yourself and see if it’s the right fit for your child.
Even better, Angela Hanscom, founder of TimberNook and author of “Balanced and Barefoot” will be joining us! Come meet her, ask questions, and discover firsthand why TimberNook is changing the way children play and grow.
- TimberNook is a 100% outdoor program and we love to play in all weather. Please ensure your child wears weather appropriate attire.
- Each child should bring a backpack with the following items: change of clothes, comfortable walking/running shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, a full water bottle, a healthy snack, and a towel.
- Expect children to go home dirty. This is a good sign of a great day at TimberNook!
- A chaperone/parent is required to stay.
- Upon completed registration, watch for a confirmation email.
- We will send a detailed email in the weeks leading up to the program.
Please consider the following when determining if TimberNook is a good fit for your child:
- At TimberNook we take a hands-off approach, allowing children to develop their problem-solving and conflict resolution skills while maintaining visual contact and stepping in when safety concerns them.
- Children must always keep a TimberNook staff member in sight and stay within the designated boundaries of our site.
- We are an inclusive program and invite participation from children of all abilities. Please reach out if you feel your child may need additional support to participate so we can plan.
- Ages listed for program can be adjusted –please contact us regarding age categories if you feel your child would be a good fit for this camp.
Multiple Child Discount
If siblings are enrolled in the same program, you may use the following coupon codes:
• nocosibling10 – Use this code for each additional sibling enrolled after the first.
• If your child is younger than 2 years old, they may attend for free. Please create a profile by clicking “Add Child,” then send a quick email to Alexandra at [email protected] to let me know a younger sibling will be joining. I’ll make sure they’re added to the program on my end.
Cancellation Policy
We are unable to provide refunds at this time for this program. If a child is ill or misses his or her day at camp, they forfeit that day. We are unable to provide individual make up days for missed days.
Severe Weather Policy
We will not operate under severe weather conditions, temperatures unsafe for children to play in, or unsafe air quality. If the conditions change rapidly while camp is in session we will utilize a shelter and follow the appropriate safety drills and parent/guardians will be notified. While rare, if we need to cancel a session due to severe weather conditions, parents will be notified the morning of programming.
Please feel free to reach out and contact Alexandra Carullo with any questions or concerns at [email protected].
Registration Disclaimer: Please note that questions on the registration process regarding immunizations are for state licensing purposes only and will not hinder a child from being able to participate. We will accept all children to participate and will treat all with courtesy and respect.
