Little Wild Ones – TimberNook Greater Quad Cities

**If you are registering multiple children (including siblings outside of the age range), you will need to register each child individually. Please make sure you are selecting the correct registration. There are four different registration options: first child, second child, third child, and a child outside of the program age range. A limited number of spots are reserved for families enrolling siblings outside the age range to prioritize age-appropriate participants. If you have two or more children outside of the age range, please contact Sarah directly to discuss space and capacity.

Little Wild Ones is a cooperative opportunity for children to build meaningful connections, to learn about themselves and the world through unique play experiences that simultaneously engage the senses, challenge the body, and foster creative thinking and social skills in a mixed-age peer group. TimberNook restores play to childhood. Children thrive with extended periods of time and space for rich outdoor, child-directed play experiences. Children will explore art, music, movement, storytelling, theater, science, engineering, early mathematics, and more through play experiences that are child-led and process-oriented. Adults are to remain on site with their child, and are invited to slow down, be present, tune into their child’s play, and connect with other adults.

Materials will be sent within 3 days of registration and include the Little Wild Ones Handbook, Gear Guide, Provisions List, Therapeutic Benefits Handout, and Camp Calendar

We offer 10 acres of outdoor space designed explicitly to support and encourage the senses, creativity, imagination, adventure, and the whole child.  Bathroom facilities are available on-site, with hot water available.

If you bring older/younger children outside the program age range, you are responsible for monitoring their play and safety. All children are expected to maintain visual contact with a TimberNook staff person, stay within the designated boundaries of our site.

In the event of impending severe weather during a TimberNook program, we will take shelter in our designated storm shelter

A comprehensive welcome packet will be emailed two weeks in advance with complete information on where to go, what to bring, and what to expect.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If cancellation occurs 4 weeks prior to the start date of the program, there will be a refund minus a 15% cancellation fee. There is no refund for cancellations that are within 4 weeks of the start date. Tuition is non-refundable. This includes absences due to illness or any other family decision.
