Little Wild Ones – TimberNook Hunterdon NJ – Lambertville

Our popular forest play series engages children in outdoor play and learning, and engages the Maker Mindset! Children will enjoy bringing stories to life, diving deep into their imaginations, engineering grand-scale play experiences, and so much more. Forest programming has never been more fun! 

Fall Funnel Fun…:  As trees sway in the cool breeze, blue jays head south, and leaves change their colors, everyone knows Fall is on its way!  The colors, the smells, the textures…Fall is just full of sensory experiences.  It’s the way our bodies know that the new season is here!  There’s no better way to welcome in the new season than to challenge our Maker Minds with the new sensations of Fall!

Corn, acorns, birdseed, pinecones, and other natural items of Fall, along with other loose parts and big building materials, are the tools of play during the Fall season at TimberNook.  Children will use their muscles, creativity, and design thinking to create various runs and pulley systems to move the Fall treasures around our TimberNook woodland. I wonder what the most interesting creation will be? (maybe…all of them!)

Corn, as a treasure of the Fall season, will be further celebrated today with a snack of….fireside popcorn!
