Our year ’round programing, Wild One’s promotes outdoor play and learning through all seasons and all types of weather! This registration is for a 3 month sign-up that meets 1 day a week. Please indicate which day you are requesting in the registration form (Tuesday or Thursday).
At TimberNook, play is the work of the child. Whether building forts, balancing on logs, splashing in the water, or diving into imaginative storylines, children will be fully engaged in sensory-rich, child-led adventures that foster physical strength, social growth, and creativity. Our mixed-age environment allows younger children to be inspired by the leadership and creativity of older peers, while giving older children the opportunity to model, mentor, and deepen their play. This dynamic setting naturally encourages collaboration, empathy, and flexible thinking—essential life skills, all nurtured in nature.
- TimberNook is a 100% outdoor program and we love to play in all weather. Please ensure your child wears weather appropriate attire.
- Each child should bring a backpack with the following items: change of clothes, comfortable walking/running shoes (please no flip flops or crocs), bug spray, sunscreen, a water bottle, a healthy snack, lunch, and a towel.
- Expect children to go home dirty. This is a good sign of a great day at TimberNook!
- Chaperone/parent is required.
- Upon completed registration, watch for a confirmation email.
- We will send a detailed email a few days prior to the program.

- Children must always keep a TimberNook staff member in sight and stay within the designated boundaries of our site.
- We are an inclusive program and invite participation from children of all abilities. Please reach out if you feel your child may need additional support to participate so we can plan.
- Ages listed for program can be adjusted –please contact us regarding age categories if you feel your child would be a good fit for this program.
