TimberNook of the Sandhills presents a variety of TimberNook programs to include Little Wild Ones, summer camps, birthdays, field trips, parents night out, and other single day events. We are a quick jog off of 15-501 at 1615 Bethesda Road, Aberdeen, NC. This makes easy access for most Moore County residents including Aberdeen, Carthage, Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Pinebluff, and Vass.

The remaining tuition is billed monthly over nine months starting in September. No refunds or credits will be issued for days missed due to illness, travel, or any other personal reasons. Payments are due within 30 days of billing. Once payments are made, they are non-refundable. o Wild Ones (6-week series): Payments cover the full series. No refunds or credits will be issued for days missed due to illness, travel, or any other personal reasons. If your child is unable to attend after registration, the entire registration can be transferred to another family if arranged before the start date. Both parties are responsible for managing payment and notifying TimberNook of the Sandhills about the registration swap, as well as completing the required waiver forms three days prior to the program start. o Summer Camps: Full tuition is charged at checkout. No refunds or credits will be issued for days missed due to illness, travel, or any other personal reasons. o Cancellations before June 1st can be refunded minus 20% of the registration fee. For example, if you purchased one spot in Barefoot and Buckets for $200.00 the amount refunded would be $180.00, if you purchased two spots the amount refunded would be $360.00, etc. After June 1st, options include: o 50% refund o 75% credit towards future programs (expires 12 months from the start date) o Transfer of registration to another family with the original registrant responsible for managing payment and notifying TimberNook. The new family must complete waiver forms three days prior to the program start. o Field Trips: Are conducted rain or shine. For cancellations due to extreme weather, events will be rescheduled. If a participant cannot attend the rescheduled date, they may choose receive a credit for a subsequent event or arrange for a registration swap with another homeschool community member, facilitated through the field trip coordinator and Dauphine Sisk-Wambles the owner of TimberNook. General Terms: o Deposits & Payments: Registration for any program requires a non-refundable deposit. Full payment for the respective program must be made as per the billing schedule. o Act of God: No refunds for cancellations caused by natural disasters, epidemics, or other unforeseen “acts of God.” o Non-attendance: No refunds or credits will be issued for days missed due to illness, travel, or any other personal reasons. o Relocation: For participants needing to cancel mid-year due to military or other relocation, tuition will be prorated based on the last date of attendance. Extenuating Circumstances: o Requests due to extenuating circumstances may qualify for a 75% program credit (expires 12 months from the start date) or a 50% refund. o Program registrations can be transferred to another family with the original registrant responsible for all notifications and the new family completing required waiver forms three days in advance. This policy is designed to be fair to both participants and the organization, ensuring that we can continue offering quality programming while managing operational costs effectively.
