2024 -2025 Little Wild Ones at TimberNook of the Sandhills

Our Little Wild Ones program carefully crafts the forest classroom environment to strengthen a child’s mind, body, and spirit to support the child’s preparation for formal academics. As a pediatric occupational therapist our local TimberNook owner, Dauphine, has documented the missing deficits children can have as they begin their learning journey. With the TimberNook programming philosophy children build a balanced physical, neurological, and emotional scaffolding for advanced academic learning. Children leave with an intrinsic confidence that greatly supports their future academic journey. This program is best for children ages 4 – 7 years old and families have used our LWO’s program as homeschool enrichment, a mother’s morning out, preschool, and/or an adjunct to therapy.

This coming fall 2024-2025 our schedule will be able to flex to the varied needs of our families. Sessions will be held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm. Your family can choose from the following the days and frequencies. There is a non-refundable deposit to hold your space. The remaining tuition is also listed. There may be a slight +/- final tuition adjustment depending on the day(s) of the week you picked, due closure as we send our teachers in November to the TimberNook conference for annual continuing education.

1 – day-a-week – deposit is $200, total tuition is $1280.00

2 – days-a-week -deposit is $300.00, total tuition is $2300.00

What are your attendance and cancellation policies?

Little Wild Ones (September – May): Requires a non-refundable deposit at registration (ex. $300.00). The remaining tuition is billed monthly over nine months starting in September. No refunds or credits will be issued for days missed due to illness, travel, or any other personal reasons. Payments are due within 30 days of billing. Once payments are made, they are non-refundable.

Relocation: For participants needing to cancel mid-year due to military or other relocation, tuition will be prorated based on the last date of attendance.

Can my three-year old attend? Call Dauphine at Google Voice # 910-585-6069. Three-year old’s can do well in our program, but they must be potty trained.
