Explorers Preschool
Explorers Preschool uses TimberNook curriculum to provides nature-based play experiences for children that challenge the senses and inspire creativity, independence, and imagination in the great outdoors. Explorers Preschool will provide children their first positive educational experience. We follow the Saskatchewan Ministry Of Education- Play and Exploration early learning guide. Classes run Sept-May with 14 children per class. Runs out of Cardinal Leger School at 141 Campion Cres, Saskatoon.
Play is recognized as the child’s method of learning about the world. Classes will offer a variety of firsthand experiences using play-based learning.

1. Tuesday/Thursday 9:15 to 11:30 am class – Children must be at least three years old by November 30, 2024 and be fully potty trained to register in this class. 14 spots $140 per month
2. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:15 to 11:30 – Children must be at least three years old by November 30, 2024 and be fully potty trained to register in this class. 14 spots $170 per month

Outside play in a setting that has so many options is fabulous. The lack of structure in fabulous and it is so amazing to see the children band together to build items or create a feast. Or engage in solitary play if that’s what they need. There are no rules and that’s what makes it fabulous.

My 5 year old son had an amazing time at the Going Wild Spy camp. We often struggle to find programming that suits his personality and interests, so it was absolutely wonderful for us to witness him beaming with joy, wanting to return each day and hearing him express how much he loves Timbernook. We’ve already signed him up for more, and look forward to many more Timbernook adventures in the future!

My 8 year old son really enjoyed the Going Wild Spy camp. He loved building his headquarters. It sounded like there was a lot of choice and variety in activities, which worked out great for him. Would highly recommend. It’s a beautiful place and the drive out of Saskatoon is worth it!

My 5 year old had an amazing week at Castaway Camp! As a city kid who hates being dirty, seeing him happy and dirty at the end of each day melted my heart! At the end of the last day he was so sad he didn’t get to go back after the weekend! Will be signing him up again!!
