Wild Ones – TimberNook Mid-Michigan

Wild Ones

Our year ’round programing, Wild One’s promotes outdoor play and learning through all seasons and all types of weather! This is a 28 week program that meets every Thursday (with the exception of black out weeks for holidays). This program provides innovative learning opportunities through meaningful, child-led play. Each series fosters essential life skills, inspires creativity, facilitates connection, and integrates
advanced cognitive & social emotional skills. Most importantly, children will create lasting
memories for years to come!

The total cost for this program is $1260/child for the year. The non-refundable registration fee is applied to this cost. Monthly installments of $250 will begin in September and be completed in December. You may pay in full at anytime by contacting Cassie Butters at [email protected]

Please consider the following when determining if TimberNook is a good fit for your child:

  • We maintain a ratio of 6 children to 1 staff member.
  • Our staff takes a hands-off approach, allowing children to develop their problem-solving and conflict resolution skills while maintaining visual contact and stepping in when safety concerns them.
  • A certified provider with CPR/BBP training is onsite at all times.
  • Children must always keep a TimberNook staff member in sight, stay within the designated boundaries of our site, and be able to take care of their own needs (such as eating, drinking, and using the restroom).
  • We are an inclusive program and invite participation from children of all abilities.  Please reach out if you feel your child may need additional support to participate so we can plan.
  • Ages listed for program can be adjusted –please contact us regarding age categories if you feel your child would be a good fit for this camp.

Cancellation Policy

We are unable to provide refunds at this time for this program. If a child is ill or misses his or her day at camp, they forfeit that week. We are unable to provide individual make up days for missed days. However, if TimberNook Mid-Michigan cancels camp for that day due to weather, a makeup day will be scheduled.

Severe Weather Policy

We will not operate under severe weather conditions, temperatures unsafe for children to play in, or unsafe air quality. If the conditions change rapidly while camp is in session we will utilize the church building for shelter and follow the appropriate safety drills and parent/guardians will be notified. If we need to cancel camp ahead of time due to weather/air quality we will reschedule –as make up days are accounted for in this program.

Please feel free to reach out and contact Cassie Butters with any questions or concerns at [email protected] or 517-677-2018.

**Registration Disclaimer: Please note that questions on the registration process regarding immunizations are for state licensing purposes only and will not hinder a child from being able to participate in camp.  We will accept all children to participate and will treat all with courtesy and respect.

**NOTE: Registration fee is non-refundable. When you sign up and pay your initial registration fee, it is assumed that you will pay the remaining four payments. If payments are not received by due date, your child will not be able to attend camp and you may forfeit your spot.
