Storybook – FAMILY PLAY DAY TimberNook Southeast Massachusetts

Welcome to Family Play Day!

This is an opportunity for all families to see what TimberNook is about and it’s for the whole family!  Yes!  Only $20 for the WHOLE FAMILY!  Come see the MAGIC that TimberNook provides!  This is a modified program to give you a taste of what might happen on a typical day at TimberNook.  We will have a short hike, meeting and then give the invitation for the children to play.  Every meet up is a different theme to inspire play.  For May 18th the inspirational story is Caps for Sale. Children will be inspired with dress ups and loose parts to be a monkey in the forest!

Notes for the parents:

At TimberNook it’s important that you STEP BACK and Tune IN. Allow children to initiate their own play.  Stepping back for a toddler might mean an arms length away, but for a 10 year old it would be much further.  Thank you in advance for minding those important rules!

Family Play Details:

• ALL AGES WELCOME!
• Children should bring a hearty snack and a refillable water bottle from home. (We have extra drinking water on site)
• A camping toilet is provided for your convenience, but you may also use “nature’s potty”.
• You will receive an email the night before each program day to let you know all the details.
• Dress your child for the weather forecast in old outdoor play clothes that can get dirty and wet as well as layers and jackets that can come off and on. They will get wonderfully messy, dirty, wet, cold, hot and Happy.
• This play day meets Saturday 5/18 (10:00-12:00)@ Leland Wild Norfolk
• Please meet at the intersection of Leland Rd and Miller St at the dirt parking lot.  We will hike in together, thank you!

CANCELLATION POLICY:   There will be NO REFUNDs. No refunds will be issued for illness, quarantine or undesirable weather. We are a 100% outdoor program with no indoor structure except to shelter if caught in dangerous weather. We plan to be outside in snow and sleet and rain. If the weather is unsafe, you will receive an email the morning of canceling the class.  Thank you for understanding. We spend a lot of time planning and purchasing materials for these classes. We need to be able to plan ahead to make the best experiences possible.
