Spring Fridays: Tiny Ones – TimberNook Greater Baltimore

Join us on FRIDAYS for the 2024 Spring TINY ONES program! Our unique outdoor classrooms include natural woods, walking trails, climbing ropes, swings, and a mud kitchen – everything your Tiny One needs to get out and play the TimberNook way.

Register before April 1, 2024 to receive a FREE copy of “Balanced & Barefoot” by Angela Hanscom, founder of TimberNook (one book per family)!

These diverse environments provide a playful space to help build relationships, self-awareness, social connection, enhance physical development, encourage creativity, and so much more. Each session focuses on a new theme while still offering some of the popular TimberNook favorites such as child-led play, stories, and nature exploration. We are truly a unique nature playgroup for families looking for something different.

Your Tiny Ones Spring Program includes:

  • 6 weeks of unique nature-based TimberNook programming.
  • 2 hour days to give your child extended time to fully engage in the play theme and outdoor space. Plus up to 30 extra minutes to enjoy a picnic lunch with your tot under the tall oak trees before you head home.
  • Exclusive access to over 30 acres of natural space.
  • Weekly newsletter with photos from the day, tips for home, and a comprehensive developmental summary of the day.
  • The opportunity to connect with other parents/caregivers in the area.
  • Stress-free programming with optional participation in all experiences. There is no need to force your tot to sit in a circle … we say YES to child-led exploration and rhythms.
  • The peace of mind that you are supporting your child’s global development. Tiny Ones playgroup experiences are intentionally designed to support every aspect of the growing child: sensory processing, motor skills, emotional regulation, social skills, and cognitive development!

What an amazing camp for our son. He came home excited for the next day. He loved playing in the creek and came home soaked and filthy; happy from a day well spent in the woods. The staff was wonderful. We can’t wait till our next camp!!

Overall the Timbernook experience was phenomenal for my little one. We were part of the 6 week Tiny Ones program & my son absolutely loved it. He came out of his shell & made some great friendships all while expanding his imagination in nature.

(We drove an hour to the program from PA & all I can say is it was so worth it. If you’re thinking about it for your child – DO IT! 🎉)

My kids loved their TimberNook experience! They came home and talked about it all day. I will gladly pay the money to send them to something like this and get them outdoors and off the screens. Carly and Tracy were very friendly and welcoming. My kiddos can’t wait to go back for camp this summer!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience in the Tiny Ones program, I’m so glad this exists in Harford County! My toddler enjoys her timbernook time and I like watching her explore and play, and getting ideas for creative materials to get for at home too. The nature classroom is perfect rain or shine, and I love TimberNook’s philosophy.

TimberNook is truly an experience unlike any other for your child. My daughter comes home with plenty of stories about her adventures from the day, immediately asking when she’s going back again. Get them off the screens for the day and outdoors to create lasting memories and character building. Giving your kids the gift of TimberNook is surely one they’ll remember for years to come!
